Q: Why did you want to start a record label?

A: I started Hughson Records because I want to help independent artists out there who are doing everything by themselves and from personal experience I know how difficult it is. A label that doesn’t just take your money and leave you to it. Instead a label that acts more like a record company would for an artist. 

Q: How can you achieve this?

A: By being different from the rest, that is what makes us a great option for emerging artists. We are not afraid of hard work. If we are working with you it’s because we believe in you and we will do everything we can to nurture and develop you as an artist.

Q: So anyone can sign with Hughson Records?

A: Hughson Records wants to work with the best and most talented artists that we possibly can. It doesn’t mean you have to be established or have a massive following as we can build towards that with you. Even if you are completely brand new to the music industry, if we see something in you and its a match then we will go from there.

A: The artist will keep 100% royalties.
